Profesor titular de historia de la ciencia en la Universitat de València y miembro del Instituto Interuniversitario López Piñero. Actualmente, es el director del Máster Oficial Interuniversitario de Historia de la Ciencia y Comunicación Científica, Investigador principal (junto a Ximo Guillem) del proyecto de investigación ministerial Exchange Zones in the Regulation of Technoscience (PID-2023-150413NB-C22) y cuenta con dos sexenios de investigación y un quinquenio docente. Es ingeniero químico, máster (premio extraordinario) y doctor en historia de la ciencia y comunicación científica (excelente cum laude) por el Instituto de Historia de la Medicina y de la Ciencia “López Piñero”. Ha trabajado en el CSIC como investigador predoctoral (2012-2013) y ha realizado estancias de investigación en la University of Notre Dame (EE. UU., 2012), Oxford Brookes University (Reino Unido, 2013) y la University of Pennsylvania (EE. UU., 2014-2015). Su investigación postdoctoral se desarrolló en la Chemical Heritage Foundation (2014-2015, Filadelfia, EE. UU.), así como en el Interuniversity Center for the History of Science and Technology (2015-2017, Lisboa, Portugal). Ha sido también profesor ayudante doctor en la UMH, profesor asociado en la UV, profesor invitado en cursos de doctorado de la Universidade Nova de Lisboa y visiting scholar en la Universidade Nova de Lisboa (2018) y la Universidad de Buenos Aires (2019). Ha recibido diferentes reconocimientos como el Premio UMH 2017 a la Productividad Investigadora (2018), el premio a la trayectoria en estudios de postgrado de historia de la ciencia de la Societat Catalana d’Història de la Ciència i de la Tècnica (2017), la Early Career Scientist Grant 2016 de la European Society for the History of Science, el New Scholars Award 2015 de la Society for the History of Alchemy and Chemistry, y la Research Grant de la Scientific Instrument Society (2010). Entre 2013 y 2015 fue secretario de la EuChemS Division on the History of Chemistry y ha sido organizador de varias ediciones de los congresos EuChemS International Conference on the History of Chemistry.

Professor of History of Science at the University of Valencia and member of the López Piñero Interuniversity Institute. He is currently the director of the Official Interuniversity Master’s Degree in History of Science and Scientific Communication, and Principal Investigator (together with Ximo Guillem) of the ministerial research project Exchange Zones in the Regulation of Technoscience (PID-2023-150413NB-C22). He has two six-year research periods and one five-year teaching period. He is a chemical engineer, holds a master’s degree (with extraordinary award), and a PhD in History of Science and Scientific Communication (excellent cum laude) from the López Piñero Institute of the History of Medicine and Science. He has worked at CSIC as a predoctoral researcher (2012-2013) and has conducted research stays at the University of Notre Dame (USA, 2012), Oxford Brookes University (UK, 2013), and the University of Pennsylvania (USA, 2014-2015). His postdoctoral research was carried out at the Chemical Heritage Foundation (2014-2015, Philadelphia, USA) as well as at the Interuniversity Center for the History of Science and Technology (2015-2017, Lisbon, Portugal). He has also served as an Assistant Professor at UMH, Associate Professor at UV, guest lecturer in doctoral courses at the Universidade Nova de Lisboa, and visiting scholar at the Universidade Nova de Lisboa (2018) and the University of Buenos Aires (2019). He has received several recognitions such as the UMH 2017 Research Productivity Award (2018), the Career Award in Graduate Studies in History of Science from the Catalan Society for the History of Science and Technology (2017), the Early Career Scientist Grant 2016 from the European Society for the History of Science, the New Scholars Award 2015 from the Society for the History of Alchemy and Chemistry, and the Research Grant from the Scientific Instrument Society (2010). Between 2013 and 2015, he was the Secretary of the EuChemS Division on the History of Chemistry and has organized several editions of the EuChemS International Conference on the History of Chemistry.
